In September 2016 I was made redundant from West Lothian College after serving 26 years.  I orginially started work as the maintenance painter when the college was based in Bathgate, I then went on to carry out different rolls within the college after the move to Livingston.  The last 5 years I gained teaching qualification and was a Painting and Decorating Lecturer.  

Although new as a sole trader I do have over 30 years experience in decorating.  Then in July 2018 I took my son Leigh on as my apprentice.  Leigh has just finished his first year apprenticeship at Forth Valley College in Falkirk.
